Edinburgh
February - March 2016

At the start of the Year of Innovation, Architecture and Design Curated Place presented an entirely new architectural scale light and sound installation across one of Edinburgh’s most iconic public spaces – St Andrew Square. The two month light and sound installation celebrated the architecture of St Andrew Square and the international, innovative and creative connections between Scotland and Europe.

Large Scale Public Realm Installation

Bringing together City of Edinburgh Council, Essential Edinburgh and French designers Groupe LAPS, we traced the history of Scottish innovation and the French influence on some of the nation’s greatest thinkers by rekindling the Auld Alliance. This stand-out collaborative artwork combined light and music to dynamise the winter season in Edinburgh.
